rsv swingarm

hi all,ive read on here that a few people put an rsv swingarm on their raptor,ive read a few posts about it but what i need to know is will i need a new chain or will my one fit as its fairly new anyway.or will i need a new one to fit the rsv sprocket,many thanks people

you use the same chain if you are still using the rap wheal

cheers mate just got a swingarm for 21 quid on ebay,not bad i dont think,now the fun starts,

ye thats the rounder shaped one same as i used dont forget you need the rear wheal spindle etc and the caliper plate :wink:

yea im slowly working through the list of things i need.as i am going to use the rsv brake caliper bracket will that still work on the cagiva disc,
i dont need sex,the government fu*k me everyday

yes rsv and rap discs are the same the rap wheal fits right in yuo just need to sort out some spacers

Could someone tell me is a 2006 RSV/Tuono swingarm will fit as I have a chance to get one at a GOOd :D price?

I fitted the earlier one myself but I know others have fitted the later one so don't see a problem go for it

Cheers Kev, I mist out on that one but just aquired 1 off a 2000 rsv :D

Providing I have all the bits (spindle, brake mount etc) is it just a simple :wink: swap over?

I am fairly hand with mi spanners and would quite happily dismantle the whole bike if it wasn't my only form of transport at the mo..

its not just a case of unbolt the rap one and bolt in the rsv one
you need to reduce the width on one side and grind the bush make new shock linage plates and spacers and wheal spacers
i am sure its all on here somewhere and its been translated
i can help you with the triangles send me your address and i can send you a pattern

hi kev any chance u could send me a pattern to of the triangles, id rather make them myself than buy a set, if you dont mind, that all i need on mine,job done, took a bit of doing but its not really that bad,cheers for all the info uve given me thru this,
