Post by motojohn »

just bought a set of jack up plates for my V raptor 25mm extra as i found the bike a little low for my legs , the only things after removing the plates from the bike i find they are the same size , bugger so it was already jacked up , so if any body wants a set let me know

You may be able to achieve s little more jack up by rotating the plates and trying them to see effect.
I found all this out by accident years ago but make sure they clear everything in use and your side stand is still useable

thanks for that i did think about trying it , it either that or look for a longer shock as im not convinced it is the right one as i read that the V raptor had a longer rear shock than the raptor .

Or go as I and many other have and make your own plates to suit?

You probably can't go much higher , to be honest.
I use a Tuono shock and with the jack up plates I had to hammer a dent in the exhaust to clear the chain.
