Soon to be owner?

Post by witstu »

Hi all, been without a proper bike now for over 2 years, ( dare i mention iv still got my lightly tuned 180cc Italjet Dragster?). Last proper bike was a SV650 naked suzuki.Had to sell to fund daughters Uni!!! Anyway the Raptor has caught my eye and i am going to view one at Leeds tomorrow. Its a red one with 11000 miles on it and first registered 2004.Only non standard parts are a pair of Mivv silencers. It had been listed on the bay a couple of times and not sold, starting price of £1999,so i will be haggling around this price if i like.So i will keep you all informed of any progress,do i get my wallet out now or do i have to own a bike first? Hope non of u will be drinking and riding!!!

Good luck viewing in Leeds, I've not seen a red one around these parts for a while, so it must be in hiding, hope its a winner

10 years?!?!?! That must be some kind of record :). I haven´t had a single bike for more then a year or two then i get bored and want something new and more exciting :). But the V-Rap feels kind of special so think it will stick around much longer, have wanted one for so long to so am really happy to finally own one now :).
Think it is the most uncommon bike in Sweden to and that makes it a lot more fun to own it to ;).

Ohh.. and bye the way a big welcome Witstu, i´ll have a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallow, getting freaking cold outside so need something warm :cold:

God doesn’t time pass by quickly.
Introduced myself in 2011 and have only just put a deposit on one tonight!
Must go down as some type of record?
Hopefully if as described will be mine Tuesday.

Well, I'd wouldn't say that's necessarily nine years of your life wasted but it depends on what else you've been doing in the meantime!

Good luck with whatever version you are aiming at. :happyhappy:

I take it the one you are looking at buying isn’t the one you had up all them years ago?
