Steering head spacer

Post by Boofhead »

G'day all,

I urgently need your help.

Does anyone know if the spacer under the bottom bearing of the steering head can be replaced by a spacer from another make of bike?

I kind of made a mess of mine getting the bearing off  (original was stuffed).

The OEM parts No. is 8A0065503 and is described as a ‘Washer 34.5 x 26’

There are no dust seals either which is a bit odd.

Any info would be greatly appreciated

Cheers

A quick search on the part number came up with
https://www.bike-parts-mv.com/mvagusta- ... /8A0065503

Since the raptor was mv at one point might be worth a call to them?

Alternatively if you can salvage enough of the original to work out the thickness then you might be able to find one. Bearing boys?
