Raptor Chapter

Hi all,
I have 2001 Raptor that needs a little bit of work, nothing major, just a revamp.
I’m now in the process of gathering the bits I need. One of them is a clutch cable. The one on it is not standard. I think its a Suzuki one, feels a really vague clutch action but it works. It’s a bit of a long shot, does anyone have a good clutch cable to sell or an old one with all the adjusters still on it to sell. Or beg a loan of so I can get a copy made.

forget cable, go hydraulic.
It's cheap, easy to do and you won't have to worry about it again

If you get stuck apparently a TL1000 cable only needs a bit of judicious straightening in a vice and then works fine.

Hi do you want a clutch cable to get a copy made the top nipple has come off but I have all the bits
I got a like new one on eBay from Germany it cost £28 and came in 4 days

Check for wear on the cam that works the push rod re sloppy action

I used an inner cable out of a Honda trail bike, cut it to length, put it in the Cagiva outer bit, machined a nipple for the engine end and sliver soldered it to the cable. Works fine. Then converted it to hydraulic, even better....
