Billet or alternative triple clamps

Post by Boofhead »

G'day everyone,

I hope all is well in these crazy times.

I’m considering replacing the triple clamps on my bike with billet ones.

So, my question is, does anyone know if any are available for a Rap? and/or, does another bike’s triple clamp fit a Rap and I can take it from there?

Ultimately, I would like the triple clamps to be able to fit Fat bars.

Cheers and stay safe

I'm not sure what fat bars are for, except macho. The idea of fat bars with thinner middles just goes to prove that it ain't for strength. Besides, if they were significantly stiffer, road shocks would be more noticeable.

I have to admit that when I converted the neat cast-alloy bars on my Ducati ST4 to a one-piece bar in a special raised clamp, I sleeved the bars in chunky silicone tubing to make them look less weedy! :D
