just made a 6400km trip around UK, Norway and Sweden and i tested the consumption a bit:
i managed to run 100kms with only 4.5 liters of fuel! that's running a VERY constant 60mph on the motorway (i was preserving my pilot power to get back home ). If you know that the thou usually slurps 7-8 liters, or sometimes more than 10 liters per 100km in town, than that's very good i think
the light would have come on theoretically at about 240kms, which is about 150 miles! i filled up at 100kms though, force of habit

Fuel 80 miles full tank
I'm only getting 70 - 75 miles on a full tank before the green flashing light.
which has been concerning me. But today I ran completely dry only 3 miles after the green flashing light started, and yes you guessed it miles from the nearest station....
I know this isn't just my full throttle driving style is it?
The bike is mechanically as standard.
Anyone know where to start lookin?
