Air Filter

Has anyone got any advice on which air filter (if any) fits in the 650IE airbox other than a stock replacement?

I just got a BMC cylindrical only to find out that the air box design changed on the 06 - 07 650IE and the stock filter now is flat so the BMC will not fit

Any suggestions most welcome please?

just get a newer SV650 BMC airfilter and you're all set. (make sure it is the fuel injection SV650 filter.)

my buddy can get them fairly cheap if i'm not mistaken,

eMoto managed to source a flat type for me and along with a set of G&G cans she's panting better than greyhound after a hard run

I went for a K&N SV650 EFi filter (part no SU-6503) from ebay, having been sent the cylindrical filter by emoto (who weren't as helpful to me as they were to you!) Also got a set of G&G's (2nd hand from Wreckah's ex!) - cue a huge roar followed by popping on the overrun. Even though she's thirstier than she used to be I LOVE IT!
