Waterpump impeller

Noticed coolant in the oil and i immediately thought about the waterpump seals. Went in to check and replace but the impeller is stuck. Can't get it off and don't want to use excessive force that might break it.
Any tips?

not sure if there's a 'different' way or if it was removed from the 'other' side, and its too late for my brain to work (and too full of alcohol) hopefully someone will know - or i'll remember in the daytime

Got it off, flathead screwdriver and lots of patience, lol.
Looks like the seal has gone.

great - the Suzuki TL seal is cheaper and it fits

yapp, impeller can be a bitch to get off. luckily it's not that expensive to replace.

a lot of patience and a couple of tiny flathead screwdrivers usually does the trick.

changing the seals is quite straightforward with a little bit of DIY experience.
by the way, if you order the suzuki seals, you get the upated ones. They look differently, but they fit fine. better design too.

make sure you don't damage the seals when you push the cover back over the impeller shaft. luuuuube

Indeed, i looked at the parts on ronayers.com and did a reverse part lookup. Some of the seals have 2 codes and i ordered the ones that are in the latest Suzuki's (same code)
