First, can you tell us what has happened

Has the bike been running OK in the past?

Has this problem suddenly happened, or is it a progression?

What have you looked at or done to cure the problem?

Had bike for 2 years ,and never had no problems till it sat outside in very heavy rain about a month ago.Changed the plugs ,drained the fuel and put in new, check fuses ,releys and wire connections.

How did you drain the tank?

Did you check the drained fuel for water?

Try checking the airfilter, just to make sure that is not saturated.

May be of no help and bit late anyway but.....
My v rap had been standing for few weeks outside under a cover, when I came to start it, it started but then spluttered and cut out. To cut a long story short I found that the vent pipe from under the filler cap was blocked and water (from the icy weather) had got into the petrol tank :(
I took the tank off emptied the fuel and confirmed the presence of water, along with some rusty brown fluid, removed the pump and filter unit (I fitted a new one about a year ago due to it rusting up!!) and gave that a good clean as well, new fuel and all was fine :D
