Well hopefully the links work.

Here are pictures with a hepco and becker top box and rack. Not as ugly as i thought - i don't think, but everyones different. At least it will keep my daughter on plus we are going touring in scotland in july so will have plenty of luggage space.

That looks pretty good... do you have a link to where you bought it from?

Thanks

This should take you to the right place, it says for a vraptor but it fits mine no probs. Delivery was about 2 weeks as they had to order from germany. It is quite pricey but i thoroughly looked into it and this was the only hard luggage i could find.

Perfect soft luggage. Q Bag by Polo.de. (german)

Used it for a 6 day trip to France (Vosges)

It's waterproof and contains about 70 liters.

Hmm out of stock at the moment
They look pretty flash. We use Ventura bags on the frame and they can be zipped back to back, although have never needed that much gear with both of us on bikes.

forget panniers there is just not enough room, miine has the ventura rack but still need to get the bag!!

in the mean time a i have fitted a tailpack on the ventura pack and managed to get something called a Q-Bag from a sale - it fits over the pillion seat like a bridge shape, also has I know this is no go if your going 2up but if your out and about as a solo then it may be worth a look

Got a pair of Oxford panniers second hand. Small but adequate, they clear the exhausts easily, though I've not fitted them as I should have and I've kept them mounted high (inset). This means that they're not that quick to fit.

So... I usually just use the one pannier bungeed to the back seat (main). I keep my waterproofs, tools and a map in here all the time. If I'm not sure of the weather, it takes seconds to stick on the bike with two bungees. I can also shove a jumper and big gloves in there if I'm going to be getting back home after the sun's gone down.

I run dry rider soft panniers and they sit on the pipes. Because my pipes are carbon (not fake carbon wrapped alloy), they dont get hot enough to burn anything. Made my own rack/grab rail and tie my swag etc to that. am doing a 2 week ride in October to the GP, so that will be the test. 5,500km round trip. ;)

thanks for all the info its greatly received (its hard to make decisions)
I just fitted the Ventura kit. Fairly straightforward to install, and doesn't look too bad at all. My usual pillion greatly appreciates having a backrest. The rack is big enough for a weekend's camping supplies including a small tent and a coupla sleeping bags. I haven't really noticed any difference in the bike's handling when she's fully loaded.

HI all i use oxford throw overs and heat is ok normally(i mount them as high as i can) but the waterproof covers melt really well. i use a modified gsxr rack with homemade brackets. But i would prefer hard panniers if i can move pipes down to give clearance any ideas?
forgot to say that throw overs break the plastic covers allong the seat if you put to much weight in.
