Belly Pan mountings

Post by cagiva_girl »

Hi guys just wondering if anyone has made themselves the plates/ brackets to fit a SV pan to their rap?

Dizzy has been fabulous and sent some pics of her brackets/plates fitted to her rap which gives a rough idea of dimensions & size but don't suppose anyone has a pattern drawn out already before I start scaling the picture and measuring the bike up to match it for my dad to make them :) or even has some old plates hanging around they wouldn't mind drawing around and marking holes, thickness etc on?

If anyone has made their own and can advise on how to get the best fit or anything it would be good to hear from you

I made my own, and i made some cardboard templates first, i can't find them in my garage, so if they still exist they'll be at work. I'm back on tuesday night, and if i find them i'll be in touch CG, but it's looking doubtful.

OK I know this is a really big ask but.........

'Fluttering eyelashes and smiling sweetly'

Don't suppose anyone has the belly pan fittings handy to draw a template or don't mind me coming over and making a pattern and measurements. Thing is its my dad who is making the fittings for me and has said if he had templates it would be easier as he doesn't have the bike for any prolonged period of time to mess around getting it right. What can i say typical girl who thinks " I know - bet a belly pan would look nice" without any regard to how to fit it lol

Have asked around and no-one seems to know a TL or SV with a pan in my area :(

Wierdo and Dizzy have both been so helpful already and I was wondering if anyone else could help a damsel in distress :?:

Pretty pretty pleeeeeez with jelly and ice cream and maybe a flake
