This comment had better be in jest as Snappy does a brilliant job on all of the mod/admin stuff. This is not a commercial site, you dont pay to use it and it is run on a shoestring of time and effort given for free and for love.

Oh and the excuse for non attendance to your every whim on the site is that I dragged Snapdragon off to deepest Essex for a Harley Rally. in the sunshine .. a trip to the dark side!

does the moderation need to be so tough though.
Surely it would reduce the amount of work for the mods if we could report the dodgy posts rather than every thread have to be approved ?? I know this is the norm on all the other forums i visit.

I think it is only your first few posts that are moderated, once "approved" you can post at will...

Miz is correct, we moderate the first few posts to stop the site filling up with spammers , porn and trolls. This gives us the opportunity to stamp on the pests before they impact the site.

Another amazing use of spam and you wont believe it .
Mush it into any hole in a leaky cooling system and it solidifies and seals beautifully and also give a luverly au de bacon sort of smell
