Round Britain Rally 2012
Round Britain Rally 2012
I took my pictures to be checked yesterday, and there was good and bad news
Bad news was that I got one LandMark wrong, good news is that I had time today to "nip" down to Warickshire and correct the photo, I have now re-submitted and this means I have completed a 100% allrounder (all LM's visited and all photo's correct), I have done 6,500 miles between the start of April and the end of October.
I still cannot let you see the photo's but will post a link to them on 1st Nov...

Here are the pictures, I've put them in order of being taken and added images of the routes taken

Hope you enjoy looking half as much as I've enjoyed tracking them down and visiting them.

Well that was an interesting hour going thru all those pics Miz!
Looks like you had a damn good years worth of riding and have the satisfaction of a job well done now!
Just shows how little we know of our own country...............................

Re: Round Britain Rally 2012
Just skimmed through the pics but they look great. I thought I was fairly well travelled but I haven't been to the majority of those places. I'd relly like to do something like that myself. I don't think my missus would be up for it though.
The two closest landmarks to me were the Singing Tree in Burnley and Malham Tarn. I live about half way between the two. I spend more time riding round Malham than I do Burnley though!

Just been looking at your pictures, well done! I wish I had the time to do something like that!
If I had known you were going to be down my neck of the woods, (Cornwall), I would have liked to cheer you on your way, not only that, it would be nice to see another rappy in the area!

Re: Round Britain Rally 2012
It does take time, but I try to fit it in with other trips out generally, but this year was a bit different as I wanted to get a 100% All Rounder as a birthday present to me!!Dodge wrote:Just been looking at your pictures, well done! I wish I had the time to do something like that!

I'll let you know if I plan to do Cornwall next year.
