I'm at work, saw this Husqvarna Rear shock, seller mentions it should fit Cagiva... Anyone can confirm? I don't have my bike to measure and a little busy here. If this is a fit, this is by far the best deal I've seen for just $420 USD!

Re: Rear shock - Compatability
I'm 99% sure it doesnt fit...
Couple of things, first looks way too long, secondly low mount wrong shape, thirdly it has piggyback.

I believe 98 fireblade shock will fit or the Aprilia falco.
Might be able to find a bargain fireblade race shock, say Ohlins, but it will still need a different spring and probably need to be serviced.
I'm just going to save my pennies for a Nitron 2 way.

Re: Rear shock - Compatability
does anyone know which rear dampers are definitely compatible? An Aprilia Falco unit is supposed to fit but would be good to see someone confirm on here - I tried a search but possibly used wrong terms.
Re: Rear shock - Compatability
The Falco shock fits with a little bit of grinding the top. Just a couple of mm. Works beter than the original shock.
