Hi all, looks like I may need a replacement one!
So anyone know a good source to get one?
Is the TL1000 one the same?
Anyone got a good spare to sell?
Cheers!!

Re: Regulator/rectifier
Ok yeah, my only concern is if it's fully serviceable as mine isn't dead just down a bit on output. I may ask some questions about it bazz.
Was hoping to find a good known spare secondhand or a new one that don't need a mortgage to buy!!

CT electrex world are your guys see thread http://raptorchapter.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=4547
But notice that the replacement I got was specified for the TL but was larger (in size) than the original. But I'm sure if you call them they'll sort you out with a better option.
Cheers,

Re: Regulator/rectifier
Just get a series one and save a lot of hassle. The normal ones pull full power out of your stator and shunt the unused power to earth, creating heat and using all the power all the time. A series electronic one uses mosfets (which are more efficient anyway) and switch them on and off to only take what power they need, using less power from the stator and giving you better mileage and more power to the back wheel.
They are expensive, but will last forever and have the other benefits too.

It's the same with the SV I think.
I've tried one from a SV1000 at my 650 Raptor and it worked fine.
