I am interested to know if any other stock radiator from another bike has been used to replace the one on a Cagiva Raptor 1000 w reg.
I have had the one on my bike welded/repaired and a couple of weeks later started leaking from a different spot, so maybe the radiator is starting to break down internally and is in need of replacing.
Any advice?

Re: Raptor radiator
Haven't ever seen another bike with the same curved rad unfortunately, I'm having issues with mine as well - had it repaired but it started leaking in almost the same spot within a month. Going to try a blob of knead-it next, I've heard of good results with that.
Road racing's where it's at - going round in circles all day is for hamsters.
Re: Raptor radiator
cleared the pipe leading to the reservoir with a lung full of air, radiator hasn't leaked since.
The pipe did not feel blocked, but I guess there must have been enough resistance to create extra pressure in the radiator.
If Radiators are as rare as rocking horse ..., I am surprised that somebody hasn't made a batch for resale.

Re: Raptor radiator
Thanks for the advice Crap Tartan,
I have a radiator specialist nearby, so I will inquire about a refurb straight away before the radiator gives up completely.
I have ordered a billet clutch cover for the same bike, the cover I have has warped and to stop the leak has taken the use of instant casket alongside the o-ring.
I see that many TL owners have done the same, is this because the cover has warped or for mainly cosmetic
reasons?
