what with the fork "fix" the change to the triangles and a Falco shock, i have had to put Platform boots on the Raptor

Sidrat old bean,
If you've raised your bike by that much, do be careful with the chain adjustment. I'm guessing that the swingarm is now sitting at quite an angle to the horizontal, and if you adjust the chain slack as per standard, it will go really tight when you load the bike and hit a bump and may take out the gearbox bearings. That can definitely happen on Ducatis if the rear ride-height is raised and the chain slack is not increased.
