Jan,

Love the Austin! Nice old cars. Anyone would love to tour in that!

Can you send us more pics of your Multistrada, please? I always thought the bodywork was a bit bulky on those, with the oily bits hanging way down below! I'm no fan of the styling of the newer 1200 Multi either, so your slimmed-down version of the 1000DS is likely the best of the batch. Don't mean to be rude, but the Cagiva Gran Canyon is still my favourite big-traillie-with-Ducati-power!

Chees,

Nick

A very tasteful colour! Andy can keep his liking for primrose yellow to himself so far as I'm concerned!

Jan,
You are holding out on us, or me anyway! What have you done to your 1000DS Multi to improve its features? Or maybe its work in progress?

I’m just out for the last trip with my lovely Raptor, A guy from Madrid bought the bike so we agreed meeting up in Sevilla at Saturday morning, This was the perfect excuse to make an last journey!
I border a ferry taking me from Gran Canaria to Huelva at the mainland this morning, The whether and sea is very nice so hope this will be a nice trip.
At same time I’m picking up my next project a Guzzi 1000Sp 1980 model, great fun beer and tapas with friends are waiting ...

Ooo....I luv Guzzis. That engine wobble on start up & when blipping the throttle. I used to own a V50 many moons ago & I remember the UJ spectacularly collapsed at speed taking out the casing in the process and leaving behind a cloud of aluminium dust :)

Always hankered after a Le Man but the Duke arrived first...

I though the SP was the 'tourer' it looks like that one has been 'le manned'

What is it they say, a Ducati will get you there but a Guzzi will get you back.

Andy,

A V50 reintroduced me to biking in the distant past! Mine was reliable but not inspirational, and I was subsequently seduced by a Cagiva Alazzurra (Pantah in drag, sort of...)

However, I have another Guzzi now, awaiting a first ride; a '57 Airone Sport 250. The locals will be amazed!

Yeah, that was pretty much it but it was my first 'real' bike and it was different from the plethora of CX500s & UJMs about at the time.

The Airone sounds good
