Yes, best wishes to all for 2022!

I'm chuffed to say I had a nice ride today, Jan 1st, courtesy of global warming. Generally, it's four wheels or nothing at this time of year, but the Cagiva Canyon 500 was just the job for a brisk run round the local villages, mucky roads and all. At least there's currently no salt down. I'm hoping to get a lot more riding in this year, so today was a great start!

Absolutely, forecast here today is for a balmy 82.

I spoke too soon, wicked thunderstorm dumped some good rain here lateish (dinnertime). Going to be a very wet summer for us, La Nina this year.

Happy new year to everyone

I too got out over Christmas, but on the Aprilia, the Raptor is tucked away and drained of fuel this time of year.

Would be good to see some of you this year, i have only seen two raptors on the road apart from my own!

I thought my last Guzzi was exclusive until i got the Aprilia, 228/103 still on the road but the v-raptor is only half as many again! but then i have had lots of bikes that dont have any on the road any more, which is a shame, or i only buy unusual motorcycles, probably a bit of both

Sidrat,

I'm with you on the unusual bikes and one benefit is that being under the radar, they are usually good value. Better yet, when you discover that a bike panned by the pundits and shunned by the market is really rather good!

Yes indeed, out of my more than 80 bikes, i have owned (currently only have 3 1/3), there have been some rare or underrated ones apart from the raptor.

Cagiva W8
Triumph Speed Four
Ducati Paso
Moto Guzzi Griso
Ducati 1000ss (i had 4 of the 900's)
Yamaha SR 500 (i had two, went around the world on one of them)
Gilera SP180 runner
The Current Aprilia 900 Shiver.

To name a few :-)
