Hi guys.. may i know is there any performance mod i can do a raptor 1000?
currently:
* akra slip on
* tre
* snorkels removed
* power commander
* blocking of 2nd valve system (pair valve)
* k & n air filter
not sure removal of snorkels is good or not.. cos i am not sure whether the air will b "ram" into the airbox smoothly cos there isnt and "tunnel" to force air in thou...
Any mods for raptor 1000?
a good cheap mod for the 1000 raptor is to fit a 1 tooth smaller front sprocket when you change the chain and sprockets next time.better acceleration, easier wheelies, and better midrange pull out of corners.it knocks a bit of the top speed off but if were honest how much time do we spend at 140 or 150 mph on the road?it makes the raptors midrange power even better.downsides? well it will use abit more fuel and the speedo will over read by about %10(not a bad thing) but for £7.00 for a decent front sprocket it will be the cheapest performance mod you can do.see ya
