Cool, Is that the standard seat, or an aftermarket one?
Also, where did you get the tank-cover-thingie?

If I have a minute tomorrow I'll put up some photos of my 650, after a little spannering and a wash-and-brush-up.

Seat , one inch of foam added and a layer of roll mat material so I dont sink in, best thing is my knees arnt so cranked and 100 miles plus is no longer an issue. Recovered by a chap in Perth.
Tank cover by baglux, takes a tank bag too .
Renthal bars with end plugs turned down to fit.
Carbon front mudguard with a fender extender for a Jap bike I forget which, didnt want to mess up the stock one.
Rear raised by Baines link, hagon rear shock.
Forks have Maxton cartridges. Handling is pin sharp, with no head shakes and comfy front end.
Puig screen stretches the fuel in the tank and allows 90 mph cruising.
Most major fasteners changed to Ti from Probolt, look up Ducati Monster kits to get Brake fasteners and pedal pivots in Ti.
iridium spark plugs.
Otherwise bike is stock.
I did have issues with water in the fuel , but after clearing the filler area breather thats sorted.

I never thought about the view , thats out my back door!

Stock except for the crash bungs and the 33bhp restrictor.

I'm looking for a bellypan, rear hugger & mudguard and a few bits and pieces like bar-ends, and I'm thinking about getting the seat re-covered cause a lot of my miles turn out to be longer trips, which I wasn't expecting when I bought the bike.

Heres mine. It is a 1000 though

The mirrors are utterly useless! They look great and I don't know what the older ones are like, but you have to tuck your arms in and crane your neck to see anything. I should change them, but they're just about usable and they do look really nice, they fit the styling of the bike better than any aftermarket ones I've seen.

I would like to get a bellypan for it, save cleaning that bloody oil cooler and make it look a little sharper. Does anyone know if someone makes a bellypan for the 650? The only ones I can find are for the 1000/v/xtra. Would an '06 SV650 one fit? Or a big raptor/TL/SV1000?

I don't suppose anyone happens to know (or know where to find) the colour code for the red '06 raptor 650 in the pic above?

I just got a bellypan fitted, which is nice.



In case anyone is interested, http://www.skidmarx.co.uk/ now know how to modify their K3-onwards SV650 bellypan to fit a 650 Raptor. It just needs a bit of cutting to get around the front downpipe and the left hand exhaust. Their red glass fibre is a pretty good match for the raptor's plastic, slightly darker, but for a bellypan it's more than close enough.
