mudguard & exhausts

Post by Jan »

Hi, I' ve only had my V raptor a couple of weeks, did my first track day at Silverstone yesterday, but my front mudguard decided to fall to bits, does anyone know where I can get an aftermarket one in carbon/carbon copy? Also any ideas on aftermarket cans in oval, carbon fibre preferably road legal with removable baffles? Thanks for your help.

let us know what the quality of your carbon is like.forza dont have a price up for their front mudgaurd, but comparing the dummy air ducts and belly pan site to site forza an quite a bit cheaper, and i know it is top notch stuff, you can even pick the size of the carbon weave.

Well it looked nice, well finished and fitted nice.
Don't know if there is a choice in weave at emoto.
If you compare prices you'll see some parts are cheaper (hugger)
And I was looking for a hugger in the first place.
They also show pictures of their stuff on their website, handy if you don't live in the UK. :)

Hi

There used to be yes, but now all I can find is this:

http://www.carpimoto.it/content/prod/l_ ... odelli.htm

http://www.carpimoto.it/Images/Products ... ler-eu.pdf

You can see different inside/outside diameters
If you know a mivv dealer and give the part number off the one you want he can order em

Cheers

hi,

emoto seem to be the best bet for quality carbon copies, you could also try the MV Agusta front guards as they are supposed to fit and are cheaper, although they are shorter at the rear.

I have just fitted oval Quill carbon Evo2 cans to my X-Rap, had them made to 380mm and they sound awesome with the baffles in, Gawd knows what they will sound like when I take them out !!!!!!!!
