High Beam Failure

Post by danman »

Was out riding Saturday evening and went to use the high beam and found that the road in front of me vanished from veiw. Thinking that the globe had blown I dutifully went and bought a replacement on Sunday (I used the opportunity to get a 50% brighter globe)

Upon fitting the new globe I fouind that when flicking the switch for high beam the low beam would extinguish but still no high. The light on the dash comes on but no high beam.

Any suggestions?

i think so too, you got a loose connection somewhere. Take a good look at the connector, and at the wiring.

i don't think it's anything fuse-related, because normal light and high beam are on the same fuse i think.
