I had a spill on some gravel helpfully deposited at a junction on my way home from Oxford yesterday. I'm ok, a few scrapes and bruises, but the bike now refuses to start.
Everything looks ok, apart from some cosmetic scrapes, but when I press the ignition, the starter motor starts to turn, then a relay under the seat starts clicking, and nothing happens. All the lights come on correctly when I turn the key and the fuel pump whirrs.
It was still running when it was on its side (I hit the killswitch straight away) and I think there's still some movement when I push it in gear, so I don't think it's siezed.
Any thoughts before I call the garage to come pick it up?

Have you checked the turnover switch? on the thou it's a little box behind the steering head. If you take it out (Rubber mount, piece of cake, you can rock it back & forward, hearing the ball rattle. If you have a DVM, check across the contacts. Seems odd that it didn't kill the bike, so maybe it's sticky.......
Glad you're OK, anyway!
