Spare / Replacement Keys

Anyone had to source spare Cagiva keys ?

I only got 1 key with the Raptor and despite trying to get it copied I got told I'd have to source it from a dealer cos all places I tried had no suitable blanks

Have I got to speak to the dreaded 3 cross ?

I got a spare key cut in Andover at a branch of Timpsons (i think thats the
right name) Took a while for them to find a blank mind you.

IT WOULD HELP IF YOU HAD THE THE KEY CODE
(4 DIGITS) THEY COULD THEN SORT YOU A KEY WITHOUT YOUR ORIGNAL,
FAILING THAT THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO TRACE YOUR KEY CODE FROM YOUR VIN NUMBER.....ER GOOD LUCK

Richie - yeah, but I've tried more than 10 places so far including a couple of Timpsons at different ends of the country and still no joy

Davidm - have no 4 digit key code anywhere. I'll get in touch just to see if they can help from VIN number otherwise it looks like I'll have to take a trip down to Andover

You could give these people a try. They advertise in the Old Bike Mart as being able to cut any motorcycle key. They are in Lincoln which might be some way from you but they also advertise that they can cut keys to code so might be able to cut you one from your lock number. Anyway worth a try.
