Can you indentify this part?

Post by Foghorn »

Greetings All,
I have just returned from London, yes I was there when it snowed!!! Plus I had my flight out of Heathrow cancelled.
I am looking to buy the housing case for a stator for my 2000 model V-Raptor, I got the rotor from ebay in Italy :)

Is this what I am after?

Foggy, I reckon that is the rotor that goes on the end of the crankshaft.

The stator is the wirey/ magnet bit that bolts to the outer casing and sits inside the rotor when the casing is fitted.

Is it the outer casing you are after that the stator bolts onto? Thats the black/grey casing on the LHS of the engine with the big central plug with and allen head.

This bit!

Exactly, I need the outer casing that the Stator bolts onto. So the part shown above although been the TL branded part is a direct fit?
If this is the case, I'm starting to see light at the end of the tunnel..........

All I need to find now is the Rectifier/Regulator
