Hi All,
Was out with a mate near Rivington Barn (Horwich) and the bike cut out at 30mph.
Took it home in the van and stuck it back in the garage and forgot about it.
Anyhow, I am determined to get it sorted again.
Now it will turn over, (new battery) but there are no sparks.
I have checked the fuses and they are all OK.
Now I am thinking of checking the feed to the coils and things like the crank sensor.
Does anybody have any suggestions? All of the warning lights seem to operate normally.
I am hoping that it is just a broken connection as I would hate it to be something like the ECU.
Thanks J2T

Check the obvious . i had water in one of the ecu plugs kept cutting out over speed bumps then staying dead .So check all connections any errors showing ?

Yup, check for any errors showing, also the obvious bits like clutch switch and sidestand switch.

errm
sparkplugs properly screwed in?
plug caps and leads in good order?
I'd be checking all connections I could find, squirt with contact cleaner and push em all back firmly
30 up to Rivi Barn? did they change the speed limits?

Had a look at wiring diagram and coils are switched individually from ecu but have a common from fuel pump circuit and engine stop switch and sidestand relay so is the fuel pump running?. If fuel pump running then it could be a sensor duff but woul;d have thought it should show an error if thats the case.

Usual suspects... side stand switch, kill switch, clutch switch? Something is also telling me big connector under the tank or seat.. but I am not sure what makes me think that Brain might cut in latter with a better idea
