Flasher relay LED indicators
Flasher relay LED indicators
Hi!
New to the site, own a V-rap -04 (Pics will be uploaded later )
I'm thinking about fitting LED indicators and now I'm looking for a flasher relay that will fit where the original relay was sitting.
Any tips would be much appreciated!
/Tim

Hi Tim. Welcome to the Raptor Chapter
Sorry I can't help with your relay, but no doubt someone will be along soon who can.

Hey there new guy, get yer ass in the bar and get them in,.........................
would luv to help with the relay but done mine with resistors and the standard relay.( Think I still have some resistors) as i modded mine with an all-in-one tail unit and the new front ones I had were built in ones.
Anyway get some pics up and tell us a wee story or summat...........................................

Got to agree with what has already been said. An in-line resistor will trick the relay into thinking that there is a normal bulb. Some LED units already have this built in.

Re: Flasher relay LED indicators
Just ordered these from fleabay for my dad, item number 270984823270.
Thought it was worth a punt for the price and could be cheaper than the resistor option? will find out how he gets on with them
hey and what can I say welcome in and get a round in - mines a Mojito
BTW Weirdo - I did tell you this over the weekend - suppose I will have to get used to not being listened to!

You two need to get a room.
Oh, you probably have.
Re: Flasher relay LED indicators
Thanks for all the replies!
I have considered the simple solution with using resistors, but I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to things like these
Btw, love the way this thread began to spin out of topic

Sry for the late update!
I ended up buying this one

Worked like a charm, LED-indicators working nicely!
