http://sensing.honeywell.com/product%20page?pr_id=56041 one of these with a collar on it, they are about 10 mm longer(as far as I can remember) $60 AUD as opposed to $220 for the original part in Australia. Just check this drawing to confirm it will fit, I have not actually used one of these on my bike http://sccatalog.honeywell.com/hwellfil ... g=1GT101DC
Indicator Relay/Flasher Unit
I use one of these http://www.tridon.com.au/Products/Produ ... 8&P=104172 Tridon Part number TF122 ,but any 2 pin car one should work (I have halogen indicator lights and the original relay would only flash for about 30 seconds before the lights would just stay on, but eventually failed. I also found if I put this type of relay in the rubber mount it would eventually fail. I have also used the same type on Suzuki GSX750SF(pop up headlight Katana), Kawasaki GTR1000 and Yamaha XJ750))
Hope that helps someone

Re: Interchangeable parts
You can add BMW F650GS and R1200GS to the tail light list.

Road racing's where it's at - going round in circles all day is for hamsters.
Re: Interchangeable parts
Also some of the Guzzis like the Breva use the same tail light and indicators.
In fact probably a few other things too.

Re: Interchangeable parts
Pretty unlikely I reckon. The Raptor sprocket is pretty unusual. I suspect the Suzuki one is far more standard.
Could be wrong though having never studied TL rear wheels.

Re: Interchangeable parts
Just had a look at a TL parts fiche online.
Rear sprocket is detailed as 39 tooth. 120mm diam inner circle. 140mm Bolt Centre Diam. 6 bolts holes @ 10.5mm Diam.
That any help?

Re: Interchangeable parts
Thanks , any info is a help, heres also what i came up with bolt pattern is the same and looks like offset is the same. Only difference i can find is the inner radius or center hole is 121 mm on a cagiva sprocket and the tl is 120mm. Have to go and take some measurements off the bike. Looks like it may work, one way to find out though! Bottom pic is cagiva. I do know the brake disc is different for sure.Fausto wrote:55 years agoJust had a look at a TL parts fiche online.

Re: Interchangeable parts
From what I remember you have to get the inside of the rear sprocket for the TL1000 machined out to to a larger size to fit the Raptor. I get my sprockets from this guy, he makes ones for the Raptors

Re: Interchangeable parts
ah that would make sense , i wonder if he does a supersprox for the cagiva ,thanks for the linkAussiejoe wrote:55 years agoFrom what I remember you have to get the inside of the rear sprocket for the TL1000 machined out to to a larger size to fit the Raptor. Re: Interchangeable parts
I had the sprocket carrier machined down and now use suzuki hyabusa rear sprockets , so you will never have to get a sprocket machined every time you change it

Re: Interchangeable parts
I didn't know that, I got sprockets off them a bit over 12 months ago, that's disappointing to hear. What happened to chaingang ? Not there anynore

Chains and sprockets threads are:

http://www.raptorchapter.org.uk/viewtop ... =11&t=3653
http://www.raptorchapter.org.uk/viewtop ... =11&t=3740
If I was working I'd probably buy the spare sprocket carrier http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/280828493761 and get it milled to take a 'busa sprocket.
There's a kit that's *supposed* to fit on fleabay at a reasonable price http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/331096018498
But let us know what you decide to do, I'm gonna be needing something in the next 5,000k.

Re: Interchangeable parts
I like the idea of machining down the carrier , and a much larger selection of sprockets available, looks like it would not be hard just to take a bit off the inside of the sprocket either. Has anyone tried a 16/43 rather than dropping the front 15/40 ? 16/43 seems like a good combo according to gear commander. Re: Interchangeable parts
Mr Google tells me that Mr Suzuki used TPS part number 13580-02F00 on the TL1000S and:
GSXR750 96-99 Model W/X
TL1000R 98-03
VL1500/VL1500B Intruder 98-04
DL1000 V-Strom 02-09 + DL1000L2 E28 & E33 models from 2012
Possibly some GSXR600s and VZ800s
