Some say i have too much time on my hands ! Some may be right. When i see alloy i cant help to polish These swing arm end caps/chain adjusters are actually cheaply painted silver and not anodized as i thought they were so a coat of paint remover got them nice and shiny again and then some sanding and polishing.

Hello Fellas,
my rear shock went to the service and now i have i question. i had to dissasemble the bike more than im used to and i need quick check on the battery since it was so trivial that i forgot. Does the '-' port of battery have 2 wires like on my pic or should one be grounded to the screw that hold the battery down with the rubber.
Thanks for help

I'm away from home at the moment, pretty sure mine has 2 wires, but will check tonight when I get back.

Yes, one is the earth strap to frame and the other is, from what I can remember, an amalgam of various wiring harness earths plus the generator (earth).
It has been specifically designed to blow up the rec/reg on a consistent basis.

Oh, btw... I've greased & adjusted the chain and checked the tyre pressures. The front will loose 2 to 3 psi over a week & I reckon the tyre may not be sealing correctly - perhaps due to the wheel starting to age & fur up on the inside bead.

Sadly I have done so little riding that I thought I better sort out a battery tender.

Andy, i ride a Shiver 900, which has similar torque and about 10bph less 95 vs 105 for the raptor, all at similar revs, but when you open up the raptor, wow it would leave the prilla for dead!, it is as you say a peach of a motorandybaggies wrote: ↑2 years ago Woo Hoo!! they're great aren't they and such a peach of a motor?
