Speed sensor

Post by Allisauris »

Hi guys,
Any you racer types or anyone for that matter got a spare wheel speed sensor for a raptor 650 they want to sell. I think mine's shot my speedo was registering 125mph while sitting still with engine idling in the workshop. I managed to clock up 10.5 miles in five minutes without even turning a wheel. Can't think of anything being faulty because when I unplugged the wheel speed sensor the speedo stopped. what does the sensor pick up from on the rear disc anyway, does anyone know? :?

Wheel Sensor

I believe that the rear wheel sensor operates by sensing the disc bolts as they move in front of it.

Will have a look through the box of road bits I have and see if my speed sensor survived intact.
