Raptor 1000 project

After someone ran into my Raptor, i bought a Z1000 but now i'm working on a new Raptor project.
I still had bits and pieces that i was going to use on my Raptor like a prepped RSV Mille swingarm.
Since i'm building it from the ground up, i was wondering if the TLR engine is a straight swap.
I know about the airbox but if it's a straight swap, i'm probably going for that option.
Also, if i remember correctly, RSV Mille forks are a straight swap?
Will the triple clamps fit too?
Edit: Will the GSXR K4/K5 forks from the 600/750 with radials fit?
Regards
Erik

there must be posts somewhere - possibly by Kev - about different forks and if the clamps fit, not that I would do any such thing to my Rap

I think, you will need a whole wiring harness , because for example TLR runs more complicated ECU.

Older RSV forks are straight fit, 43mm. Works with original calipers, no triples needed.

Newer RSV forks can be mounted to stock triples if you drill them but you will need new brakes.

Thanks

the only thing I have right now is the frame and a prepped rsv mille swingarm, so I have a few more options.
Slowly scavenging the parts I need

I can suggest to start scavenging 43mm USD forks with radial calipers, so you can use original triple yokes.

This is arriving tomorrow.
Picking up the frame at the end of the week.
Already thinking about what color the frame and wheels are going to be.

Great looking setup !
Red frame with black or grey wheel, of course.

Other option might be all black, you can't go very wrong with that.

Yes the airbox will be your main issue as tlr tb's are different, exhaust and ecu will be not so much of a problem. Any advantage in fitting a tlr motor will be lost if you cant sort the airbox. I think they forgot about the airbox on this bike when they designed it. The airbox is where the power is won and lost, apart from the exhaust and ecu that is . It goes to show how much of a difference these make as the cagiva motor is identical apart from going to 6 bolt clutch to the later tl1000s, excluding the 97tls of course

I'm considering the swing arm mod - but think the cost of it will probably out weigh any increase in performance.
'Crap Tartan' may have some triples for sale - not sure where you are based though?

I don't know about performance increase but it will defiantly look good.
