I hate hackers!

The previous attack on the site seems to have left a time bomb that took out the site and caused the host provider to shut down not just us but the entire server.

Our beloved landlord has again repelled the hackers and virus boarders and tidied up the mess they left! He has added an additional level of security to the server/site and hopefully this will be an end of it. We keep this site going out of our own pockets and the kindness of our landlord, but this attack has cost real $$ this time to fix and should anyone wish to make a contribution to this cost, however small, it would be appreciated. Please PM me if you can help.

Well done guys the website was down for a few days.
It is great to see it back up.
I do not know how to make a contribution but if you could explain how that is done that would be great.
Maybe a paypal link or something and we ask every-one to contribute a few dollars, pounds, what-ever your country calls money.
The gas gas forum asks for donations as does wiki, and several mtb forums so it is better than joining up for a yearly membership,
just an idea.

Hi, we try very hard to not ask for money for the general running of the site, this is why There is no general donate button anywhere. Unfirtunately this is an exceptional cost that i was not expecting and thought i would see if anyone was able to help.

Thank you to all who made a contribution, it is very much appreciated. We raised enough to buy a couple of bottles of 'rent' plus enough cash to pay for the years server protection... I passed them over this weekend .
