Re: A Canary Cafe Racer
To be honest my first idea was yellow as I have made two Canary yellow streetfighters before!shebee wrote:55 years agoIs it going to be canary yellow?
But now I"M not sure!
I have pulled the bike to parts to paint the chassis but I don't now if red or yellow!?
I allso gone take away the foot peg support as I want a cleaner look and make this nice chassis more visibly .
What's the maximum photo size to publish in this forum?
I can't find the way to publish them

To day I have cleaned all the pieces and I now beginning to plan how to design and relocate the supports for the footpegs making the lighter and thinner making chassis more visible

Re: A Canary Cafe Racer
This afternoon I have cut of the superior tube from the rear subchassis to raise it a bit.
I have also been sitting on the bike with the gas tank and the seat on making an ide of where to put the footpegs, rear break and gear change.
As the bike I gone have low cafe racer stearing bars I have to move every thin making it ergonomic

Re: A Canary Cafe Racer
First I had the ide of making a Caferacer now I'M in a mix between caferacer, naked and streetfighter.
I went to a salvage looking for slip on steering bars, a nice seat, front lamp and rear lights.
The good thing with salvage yards is that they give me a lot of inspirations!
The local next to my job is the oficial MV Augusta show room and work shop and I have to say that the new Mv Augusta Dragster rear is just amazing!
So that's the rear end I want I can build the body wor for that but I need the seat and rear lights!
I founded the lights at the yunk yard for 30€!
They are from a Yamaha S-max 125 and i'm gone turn them upside down

Make mix and combine best of them, I don't like hardcore categorizing.El Vikingo Tropical wrote:55 years agoFirst I had the ide of making a Caferacer now I'M in a mix between caferacer, naked and streetfighter.

I think she looks great with her bum up in the air like that and reckon you should 'fighter her - cafes are nice but all the hipsters are ruining that niche for me.
Road racing's where it's at - going round in circles all day is for hamsters.
