Air pressure sensor location
The carter was finally fixed and I started to put the raptor back together.
Most sensors, connectors and hoses are connected but I can not find the correct location to place the Air pressure sensor that is connected to the airbox. Where must this sensor be connected to the frame/engine?

Re: Air pressure sensor location
It goes on the left hand side of the bike, just inside the cradle of the frame ahead of the regulator/rectifier. If you can wait until the weekend I can take a photo of mine?

Re: Air pressure sensor location
That's correct... conveniently placed to block access when removing/replacing the battery And strangely held by only the one (cross head) screw. It goes on the left hand side of the bike, just inside the cradle of the frame ahead of the regulator/rectifier

Re: Air pressure sensor location
One of the previous owners installed a cooling liquid expansion tank on those spots. So will just connect them somewhere most logical!!

Re: Air pressure sensor location
Especially as there was a perfectly serviceable expansion tank on the opposite side to the air pressure thingumabob - so they then had to remove the expansion tank to get at the batterySome owners think they know better than Cagiva wonder why they changed it
