Raptor Chapter

Hi all
Just recently acquired a Raptor 1000 and it has an aftermarket headlight and shell so it sticks out further.
Will the SV1000 headlight fit the original Raptor shell ?

I had the same problem, with a nasty headlamp attached on extra brackets. The problem I found was that the original styled brackets have a closer spacing for the unit than is common. Failing finding a proper Raptor unit, I ended-up finding a Chinese shell with closer spacing, but I had to take a heat gun to the back of the plastic shell to get clearance for various bits. The Chinese reflector lost silvering rather quickly, but I was able to fit a Bosch optic into it that came from a Monster. A decent LED bulb, and all was good!

I can't, at the moment, give you details of the Chinese shell but can look it out in 3 weeks. If you find a likely alternative, be sure to check the distance between its ears!
