Big Sister for my small Raptor

Post by Yozo »

Hey guys,
Here is probably the first real post/thread by me.
I got into the Raptor due to its appearence and the sv650 engine, however as u might have guessed, I wasn't satisfied with its power.
Since I do like to make the bike more modern looking, especially in the front, I swapped some things on my 650.

Anyways, here's to the good part. I bought a nearly mint condition, low mileage (7800KM) Rapor 1000. Its like brand new.
Just wanted to share with u this pic of both my raptors next to each other.

I hope u guys aren't going to kill me for using this mint bike as base for a custom bike

Nice... and perhaps best not let them get too close just in case you end up with a brood of baby raptors... :)

And I wouldn't worry too much about customising it either... I'm planning to do the same with mine when refurbishing it. Nothing too wild but I am thinking of going for some sort of lurid colour scheme... the frame certainly need highlighting.
