Does seem a bit peculiar. It's a private auction, i.e. you can't see who is bidding but you can see how much. Maybe I'm being naive but I can't see why you would do this unless you had something to hide.
Coupled with a number of rapid 50 quid increments suggests to me that the seller is trying to bump up the price on his own auction.
Of course, it's still a very cheap Raptor 650 so I hope someone on here buys it! I was tempted but financing one race bike is more than enough for the moment
