I've got an engine from a fuel injected SV650 that would fit straight in to your Raptor 650. A couple of minor component changes (costing less than 50 quid) and your carbs and electrics will plug straight in.

All the power of the latest engine without any of the headaches. And you'd still have your old engine to sell on. Buy my spare engine for 500 quid and you'd probably get 300 quid for your engine if you sell it to one of the SV650 guys on eBay.

I Will not buy your engine as I'm in France and we are not allowed to change the engine here

But just for my personnal information, you can change a normal 2001 V-Raptor engine for an SV650 from wich years ?

The SV650 used carburettors between 1999 and 2002 so any engine from that period will work.

The newer the engine the more power it made. Note that the Raptor engine actually 2001 engine casings fitted with 2000 cams and other internal parts.
