hi took the caliper off and have drained all the fluid, when pushing the pistons back noticed the outside one seemed a lot harder to push back? i didnt want to split the caliper as i do not know what is in there and how it comes apart? to bleed the system do i need to put the pads back in and put so...

problem went away for a few hundred miles.

happened again, when i felt the caliper it was red hot, i hadnt even been using the back brake.

any ideas?

after a while of having no pedal at all it just came back as quick as it went.

the pedal has feel now but i would like to know what the problem was.

the bike on a 07 plate.

id been an just steady ride no hard braking, not much back brake, not enough to boil the fluid.

any ideas?

Went round a corner and my back brake pedal went to the floor.
Pads are good and no leaks?
