forza italia where we brought the bike have just fitted brand new rap 650 clocks, from a later model that read in mph. problem solved.that was under warrenty as rachel was not happy with them in kmh.

speedo healer plugs into sensor socket below seat end of tank on 650 and undertank above sensor on 1000.it only converts one way.was supplied with one for wifes 650, but wiring blocks different.you could fit a two way switch and bodge the wiring, but for purpose of mot they would not know the differ...

having a similar problem with wifes rap 650,it only reads in kmh, but the dealer sold it as mph converted, but gizmo did not work, he has now offered us a new set of 650 rap injection clocks, because apparently you can alter them between mph and kmh.not sure how, nor is he,nothing he can do to know ...

i like what you have done, but sorry not for me. i like the raptor design, all part of the individuality,just dont like the crap paint they put on them.also rear footpegs or lack of.

just a quick point,to all those using renthals.can use your original bar ends.put a nut and bolt thou them,lock that into a drill,but that safelt i vice,as bar end spins hold a file against it.took 5 mins per bar end to shave down diameter to fit.renthal do new rubbers to fit or just get a stanley k...

i disagree with you jeff,sorry mate.if you leave a chain for a while links can get sticky,giving you a zig zag effect in worse cases,after lubing them they free up and straighten.proving lube does penatrate the rings.in the old days of triumphs,nortons and bsa`s they used to place chains into saucep...
