possibly, but consider this, the fuel injection system for the thou will be different, you may need the thou fuel tank and wiring loom as well, the thou has heavier fork springs and a wider rear wheel with beefier sprockets.
Got to the dutch web site "OEM motor parts" , google should find it , they have parts lists and drawings , should show you what you will need for the conversion if its possible.

I have already fit the rsv swingarm with a 180/55 rear tyre and i am about to fit a pair of showa forks and discs from a rsv too...

Sounds like an epic idea, but in reality what's the difference to just buying the thou version? are we talking different wheelbases or lighter frame

Not at all....just happens to have the 650, now modded with mille suspension front and rear and suddenly the bike seems less powerfull, if you know what i mean...so the dilemma is put the thou motor on or turbocharge this one...
It's all greek to me....
