Post by RaptorJo »

Just seen this on Ebay, so thought I'd post if anyone interested. I've got one and it comes in handy for shopping :D

JO51, does this bolt on to the rear footrest hanget too?

Once fitted can the rack part be unbolted from the frame?

Are these decent quality or flimsy stuff?

Yeah, it bolts on under the seat to the frame and then also using the exhaust hanger bolt. Mine has been on for about 3yrs now and I would say its made of sturdy stuff. But once on, it stays on unless you don't mind faffing.

you can see one on my bike here http://www.raptorchapter.org.uk/viewtop ... =10&t=3153

cheers for that, JO51!! one picture and all that!

I just meant that from the pic it looks as if you could unbolt the rack bit and just leave the frames either side still on the bike??

Yeah you could if you wanted but I don't reckon it'd do it any favours... I keep considering whether I could be arsed to take it on and off and in my view its not worth the hassle but it can certainly be split if required :) Does that sound better :)

I've got a H&B rack sat in a box in the garage - been meaning to fit it for ages.

Anyone fancy making me a decent offer and it's yours :D

Rack / Spacers / bolts / everything you need in good condition.

Cheers, Bfef.
