Preload fork caps

Post by Dante »

Can the fork caps be replaced with caps that have preload adjustment and have preload to the fork without any other modification?
Is this possible?

Simple answer is no it wont work. The internals that actually give that adjustment would also have to be fitted for it to work.
Just buy some R1 99 forks and slot them straight in for a fully adjustable much better than any raptor forks at very reasonable cost.

Nah,I was just thinking if that could me done with a minor cost
A friend of mine told me that this is possible at many bikes so I thought to ask for it
I'm not at that level yet, that the suspension of the stock raptor are not enough for me
Thanks anyway!

Actually I cant see why it wouldnt work. Would need to find donors with right thread but its just essentially a thread that pushes on the spring.
