Christmas ride to Thailand
Christmas ride to Thailand
Rode my raptor from Malaysia to Thailand during last Christmas holiday. Share some of the pictures I taken along the way.

Great pics Ken.
I managed to sneek a day riding a fireblade around the Phuket coast on my honeymoon (some 10 years ago) and loved it.

The bike made me do it!

Hi Ken,
great pictures i've done those roads a year ago in an old porsche 911
if you're looking for a great motorcycle hangout, i know a place near Trang. Road-side diner with two fantastic hosts Mee and Tuu. They are also members of Thailand big bikers club. Great place, i helped decorate it
if you need details, please ask!
cheers, jan

Thanks for your info. I stopped at the road-side restaurant at Trang but I dont think is the one u show me on photo. I only ride to Thailand once or twice a year. Not sure when will be my next ride destination. If I go there again sure I will PM you for more info.

Wreckah, I think that it's fair to say that you're the first person that I've ever seen driving a Porsche in blue wellies!

Re: Christmas ride to Thailand
Off to Malaysia for a week next month, then down to Singapore then across to Thailand for a couple of weeks. Usually borrow a small 125 or 150 cc scooter when there but have never ridden a big bike there. Probably too scared to do that with all the random driving plus the occasional crater in the roads. The other issue for me would be the heat. The gear required would lift the temperature when not moving to unbearable levels. So will stick with the aircon truck.
Cheers
