I have succumbed to peer pressure from elsewhere on this site, at last.
I decided to polish the downpipes.
Never again. As a batchelor, I thought I had naturally strong right wrist and fingers (if you know what I mean), however, hours of rubbing hard at my tubes, brought much frustration and very little pleasure.
Not sure if it's worth it, especially if they end up tarnishing again five miles down the road...still, it should look good at first.
Compare with the picture 'here's Bella' to see the difference.
Marks out of ten for effort, anybody?

Hard work??
Did you not see my post about cleaning the Xtra exhausts?
Xtra Exhaust
Only took maybe an hour, with no real effort, OK I have not bothered with the really fiddly bits, as they are mostly hidden by the belly pan..

Yeah, well worth all five miles it will take to go back to their previous state...

3 minutes to allow Optiglanz work its magic...then a quick buff with autosol gives you a sper shine that lasts much longer than five miles
However, polishing on Raptors anywhere else....
