Isle of Man TT - A Marshals Perspective.

Post by Ballacraine »

For any that may be interested, I have marshaled for the Isle of Man TT Races every year since 1988.
I am starting out with a blog.

Don't expect it to be a detailed report on the racing, there are far more detailed & better equipped resources for that, http://www.manxradiott365.com/ for instance.
What I'll do with it is post my anecdotes, thoughts & opinions. As I get more used to the technicalities of it, I shall possibly expand the coverage to show something of my beautiful homeland too.

I hope some of you might find it interesting.

Maybe have to start calling you HairyBalla

I keep meaning to get over there and always leave it too late.

Planning ahead is essential if you are thinking TT.
Often folk book the crossings for next year whilst they are over.
If you leave it until after Christmas, you are probably too late.

Manx Grand Prix & Southern 100 are less fraught.
