Clutch cable for v raptor?

Post by Wardy »

Anybody know where to locate one or what will fit it? Tried a tl1000 and that didn't :(

I believe Venhill will make them to order.
I have a TL1000 one on mine [edited the idiot bit] the curved hard tube is different and the top toggle a tad smaller (as I recall there's a nylon sheath for it which helps it fit) mine's been on a good few years now so maybe they've changed the TL item(?)

I chucked "clutch cable" into the search box here, and it seemed to show the TL one would fit if you re-routed it. Venhill seem to be the preferred replacement, but Yamaha XT and Triumph Daytona ones fit too. Have a look at -

I ordered a tl for mine and wasn't happy, sent mine to venhill and they put a new core as they could not get the ferrules at the end anymore, still feels like new though

Replacing cable clutch with hydraulic would also solve the problem.
