Just interested to know if anyone else is using race pattern gearshift. I really liked it before and it seems to work providing the sprocket cover is removed. May need slightly longer shift rod ?

Re: Race pattern shift
Wouldnt dare try it!!
The odd few times I have ridden a race bike it has resulted in a few embarrassing moments when I got the shift wrong way round....................
Stick to what is natural I reckon.

Lucky i have only one bike but the race pattern feels so natural. I remember hitting the rev limiter going down instead of up on my last bike most time you can feel it just before you let the clutch out if you have gone the wrong way and clutch back in again, i wonder if slipper clutch helps in the event ? but once you transition its all good until you ride another bike lol i have gipro connected so that will also display the gear selected!Crap Tartan wrote:Wouldnt dare try it!!
